The individuals who handed over the high-value Dubai gold they found falling in Jimma city to the police were appreciated

The Jimma City Police Communication Office stated that two individuals have handed over the missing Dubai Gold, which they found falling from their workplace in Jimma City Ward 2, to the police.

According to the communication office of the Jimma Zone Police Department, Commander Bashu Ramso and Ato Wadajo Wolde Slase, employees of the Fromsa General Hospital, found 7.5 grams of Dubai gold fallen on September 10, 2017 and stated that they kept it with them until a searcher came.

However, a seeker who claimed that the gold was mine disappeared for a whole month, so on October 8, 2017, he faithfully handed it over to the Jimma City District Police.

According to the information received from Bisrat Radio and Television’s Communication Office, it has been confirmed that at the current price of gold, it is 60 thousand Birr.

Jimma City Police Department District 2 Crime Prevention Officer Deputy Inspector Megersa Ayana thanked the two individuals for their honesty and good conduct without being deceived by personal gain, as it gives a great lesson to others and conveyed a message that honesty should be the principle of everyone.
