Ethio Telecom and Bahardar city administration signed the agreement for the implementation of the Smart Bahardar project.
At the signing ceremony, the first deputy mayor of Bahardar city, Ghoshu, said that we are working to make Bahardar the world’s preferred tourism and investment city.
The mayor said that the city of Bahardar is blessed by nature as it was founded by the fathers in a modern plan.
They mentioned that 22 km corridor development work has been started to increase this nature with diligent development work.
He also stated that smart security service camera installation has been started to help modernize the city with technology, which was started by Smart Bahardar project.
The First Deputy Mayor pointed out that Smart City is based on the concept of using technology to support the operation system and equipping and using helpful technology in the areas of peace and security, traffic, education, tourism and services.
The CEO of Ethio Telecom, Frehiwot Tamru, said that when Ethio Telecom set out to make digital Ethiopia a reality, it is about making cities more convenient for residents and the best in the world with modern technology.
