Ethiopian Airlines canceled its flight to Asmara
Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it will stop its flights to Eritrea’s capital Asmara from tomorrow.
The airline canceled the flight due to operational problems in Eritrea.
Therefore, the airline has announced on its social networking page that it will cancel the flight to Asmara, capital of Eritrea, from tomorrow, August 28, 2016.
The police announced that 31 people suspected of kidnapping in #Gondar city have been arrested.
The police announced that 14 security personnel suspected of criminal activity have been removed from their duties after arresting 31 individuals suspected of kidnapping in Gondar city of #Amara region.
In the past few weeks, 64 kidnapping crimes have been committed in the city, the head of the city administration police department, Assistant Commissioner Ayeleng Taklo, announced in his report at the emergency meeting of the city administration council held today.
He explained that the police investigated 31 individuals suspected of the crime and submitted 16 case files to the judicial authorities.
He also pointed out that he is investigating 17 case records.
They said that they have recently finished and prepared to send it to the justice bodies.
He pointed out that the police is conducting strict surveillance to arrest more than 10 individuals suspected of kidnapping who have been issued a search warrant by the court.
He explained that 14 members of the city’s security department, who committed misconduct and were suspected of criminal acts, were dismissed from their responsibilities.
The assistant commissioner also said that among the sections of the society where hostage crime is committed, women and children are the main victims.
