Ethiopia started transporting livestock to Djibouti by train for the first time

Chief Executive Officer of Ethio-Djibouti Railway Joint Stock Company Engineer Takele Uma has announced that the railway transport service for livestock from Adama to Djibouti has been announced.
Engineer Takele Uma, who recalled that before, railway transport was only used to import products into the country;
He said that starting this service will increase our capacity.

He said that the Ethio-Djibouti railway transport through Adama will increase the capacity to export quality meat products to foreign countries and reduce traffic congestion.

The Addis Ababa Quarry Organization has announced that it will provide paperless slaughtering services in this fiscal year 2017.

The head of public relations of the organization, Mr. Atakalti Gebre Michael, told Bisrat Radio and Television that in the past, the organization has been following a paper-based procedure in the process from intake to slaughtering.

Currently, in an effort to adopt a modern system, activities are being carried out to make other internal procedures, including the provision of slaughter services, free from paper contact.

Mr. Atakalti stated that the organization is currently working on improvements to make the slaughtering service and internal procedures more efficient in accordance with the modern system.
