Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) said the main thoughts on the 116th Army Day.ย ย

๐Ÿ‘‰ A defense army has been built which is the pride of Africa.

Our country works together with neighboring countries for mutual benefit.

๐Ÿ‘‰ With the reform made in the army, an army with rich combat experience has been built;

๐Ÿ‘‰ Defense has confirmed its role as an ambassador of peace in the peacekeeping mission;

๐Ÿ‘‰Ethiopia has never invaded anyone and has no desire to invade.

๐Ÿ‘‰ There is no interest or development that Ethiopia achieves through invasion;

๐Ÿ‘‰ Defense is a source of pride for the national guard that sacrifices for sovereignty.

๐Ÿ‘‰ It was possible to organize and equip the defense not only on land but also in sea and air;

๐Ÿ‘‰ Our country has never been defeated by invaders and still will not be defeated

๐Ÿ‘‰ We have never lost a battle, nor bowed down;
Our history shows us to win, to kneel;

๐Ÿ‘‰ Our Defense Forces should be thanked for knowing and honoring its history;

In order for the army to redeem its times, it should strengthen itself through reading and education.

The Sudan Refugees Coordinating Committee in Ethiopia made a call to the international community.
In a statement issued by the committee, the refugees are at risk due to the ongoing war between Fano militants and government forces in the Amhara region of Ethiopia.

The statement mentioned that many refugees are sheltered in a refugee camp near the border of the two countries. He explained that the city has been under the control of Fano militants for the past three days.

However, the statement stated that the war in the area is still continuing and this has caused the food and water supply to the refugee camp to be cut off.
On the other hand, Eastern Sudanese authorities said that more than seven hundred Sudanese refugees have been exposed to problems near the border due to this conflict.

About 400 of them are in Matema Yohannes city and 320 are in Galabat. The officials explained that they all fled the war and were displaced.
Although it has been days since the border between Sudan and Ethiopia was closed, the leaders of the two countries met in China today.
A news report about this is being widely distributed by the government media.
