Heart treatment mission is being provided by doctors from America.
“Heart Attack Ethiopia”, a humanitarian organization founded by Dr. Tesfaye Telila and Dr. Obsinet Mered in the American country, has been providing free heart treatment mission services since August 13, 2016.
This is the second scheduled medical mission.
The medical service from the center is also provided at St. Paul’s Hospital and plans to benefit more than 100 patients suffering from heart disease in a two-week period.
More than 17 health professionals engaged in the field of cardiac medicine are participating to provide the medical services.
Dr. Obsinet, CEO of Heart Attack Ethiopia, said, “In addition to open-chest treatments, heart surgery and treatments for patients with heart rhythm problems are included in this round.”
They pointed out that the organization has collected more than 1.4 million dollars worth of medical supplies and has come to Ethiopia for its medical mission.
He indicated that he will conduct more missions in the future.
The Chief Executive Officer of Heart Center Ethiopia, Ato Hrui Ali, said, “Many patients who are waiting in line for this medical mission will benefit.”
